Yes. Each stylist has their own calendar with individual working hours, break times, vacation days, and service menu. Stylists can log in to view their schedule, block off personal time, and see upcoming appointments. Salon owners see all calendars in a single view.
You can assign specific services to each stylist. If Mia does color but not extensions, clients will only see Mia as an option for color services. This prevents mismatched bookings and ensures each stylist's schedule reflects their actual skill set.
It doesn't allow it. CutsBot tracks each stylist's real-time availability down to the minute, accounting for service duration plus buffer time between appointments. If a slot is taken, it's removed from the booking page instantly. No overlap is possible.
Absolutely. CutsBot has a built-in walk-in queue. When a walk-in arrives, your front desk adds them to the queue with their requested service. CutsBot shows estimated wait time based on current appointments and available stylists. Walk-ins show up in your analytics just like booked appointments.
Clients can join your waitlist for specific services, stylists, or time slots. When a cancellation opens up a matching slot, CutsBot automatically texts the waitlisted clients. The first person to reply gets the appointment. This happens without any staff involvement.
Yes, on Studio and Salon Group plans. You set the deposit amount per service (flat fee or percentage). Clients pay via credit card when they book. If they show up, the deposit is applied to their total. If they no-show, you keep the deposit. Fully configurable per service type.
CutsBot marks the appointment as a no-show after a configurable grace period (default: 15 minutes). If a deposit was collected, it's retained automatically. The client receives a message about your no-show policy. Repeat no-show offenders can be flagged for mandatory deposits on future bookings.
Yes. High-value services like color or extensions can require 48-hour cancellation notice and a deposit, while a basic men's haircut might allow same-day cancellation with no deposit. You control the rules per service category.
Yes. Connect your existing Square account and CutsBot syncs appointments with Square's point-of-sale system. Payments, tips, and product sales all flow through your current Square setup. No new hardware or merchant accounts needed.
Yes. If you prefer Stripe, connect your account in the CutsBot settings. Deposits, prepayments, no-show fees, and digital tips are all processed through Stripe. You keep your existing Stripe rate and dashboard.
Yes. After their appointment, clients receive a payment link where they can add a tip with suggested amounts (18%, 20%, 25%, or custom). Digital tipping increases average tip size because clients don't feel limited to the cash in their wallet.
You can add your CutsBot booking link to your Instagram bio, action button, and story links. For Google, your booking URL can be added to your Google Business Profile so clients book directly from search results. Both are link-based — no complex API setup needed.
No. CutsBot is month-to-month. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. No cancellation fees, no penalties, no long-term contracts. If you cancel, you keep access through the end of your current billing period.
We accept all major credit and debit cards for your CutsBot subscription. Your subscription is billed monthly and you can update your payment method at any time from the settings page.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new features and are prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We never sell or share your client data. Your client list, appointment history, and payment information are your data, period. We're SOC 2 compliant and perform regular security audits.
Yes. You can export your entire client list, appointment history, and analytics data as CSV files at any time. Your data is always yours and you can take it with you if you decide to move on.
